FAQ

Q. Should women use lubricant?

A. Yes, of course, we should, most of us are using creams, lotions, and potions on the rest of our bodies, right?   Products that rejuvenate and moisturize and keep our skin looking young, well we want to do the same for our Vag if we don't, our lady parts are going to look as old as our grandmother's!

We want ALL our body parts to stay as youthful and resilient as the rest of our body.  If we don't use lube now we may find Vaginal Rejuvenation Surgery in our futures. On top of all that masturbation, intercourse and anal just feel even better with a good quality lube.  You can spice things up with warming or cooling lubes or add a little flavor to oral sex......MORE LUBE PLEASE!

Q. Which lubes are less likely to cause yeast infections?

A. Everyone's body is different and may have different reactions to specific ingredients in many personal lubrication products.  Generally, sticking to a natural water-based product without Glycerin or Parabens may help.  Unfortunately, since everyBODY is different it can end up being trial and error.  Our suggestion would be to look for a lube with the least amount of additives this will greatly decrease your chances of a reaction.

Silicone-based lubricant is a great option for those with allergies or sensitive skin.  One of the most popular and our best-selling Silicone lube is Uberlube.  Uberlube is made up of 2 main ingredients those being Silicone and a small amount of Vitamin E.  This product is recommended by doctors due to the least amount of risk or a reaction. For the full list of benefits and options of Ulberlube

Organic Lube is an option but keep in mind that you could still have a reaction to an organic ingredient.  Again everyBODY is different and there could be an ingredient that might not react well to the person's body chemistry.  Again it could be hit and miss so the fewer ingredients, the better your ods. One Organic Lube we will recommend based on our personal preference would be Liquid Organic Natural. It's again one of our best sellers and personal favorites at Forbidden Apple.

Hypoallergenic Lube is an option that is formulated to minimize risk from allergies. Products labeled hypoallergenic are purportedly less likely to cause an allergic reaction in the person using them. In saying that we are all different and our bodies react differently to different products. One we'd recommend trying would be Wicked Sensual Care Hypoallergenic Lube

The best thing you can do when looking for the right lube for you is purchasing or asking for samples.  Try a small amount at a time and see if it work with your bodies chemistry.  Once you've found the lube, purchase in larger sizes including smaller ones for travel.  All lubes are not created the same and either is we, so find what's right for YOU!

Q. What is the best Silicone Lube on the Market?

Our best selling lube, as well as the best selling product on our website, is Uberlube

Uberlube uses a high-grade silicone with a small amount of Vitamine E.  Fewer ingredients mean less chance of a reaction.

There isn't a lid to mess with so you won't have any unwanted spills.  It has an easy to use pump system so you get only what you need and a little goes a long way.  Not only is it great for any kind of sex including water sports, but it's also used for chaffing, hair finishing too.  At FobriddenApple.ca we give Uberlube 5 stars!

What is the best masturbation lubricant for Men?

A. Men generally want something that's long-lasting that isn't going to dry up halfway through a good masturbation session. Here are a few good choices starting off with a hybrid.  Hybrid Lubricants are a blend of water-based and silicone together letting you enjoy the natural moisture of water while also getting the benefits of a longer-lasting silicone.

Another great choice in lubricants for men would be a silicone-based.  Silicone can be used with or without a partner in or out of the water and for a variety of uses.  It is hypoallergenic, so it’s a great choice for lube users with sensitive skin or allergies. And since these lubes contain mostly silicone instead of water, they often last longer and need to be reapplied less often. Uberlube is our favorite Silicone Lube at Forbidden Apple as well as one of our number one selling products on our website!

Q. What can I use to Prolong Climax?

A. There are a variety of products on the market today for men and women in the form of Spray, Gels, and Pills.  Products that will help control climax and prolong orgasms.

Topical products can temporarily desensitize the male or female genitals so climax doesn't occur too early. Keeping in mind that MORE is NOT always better!! Start off with a small amount you can always add more later and don't go crazy or you may end up NOT climaxing at all!

Be sure to read and follow the directions on the packaging...yes something we don't always like to do :0). If using a topical product make sure you allow the product time to dry before sexual activity as it can be transferred to an unwanted partner. We have a great assortment of quality brands topical sprays as well as supplements available to Prolong Climax at Forbidden Apple.

Q.  Do Kegel exercises really work?

A.  Yes, but here's the thing, it's called EXERCISE!  In order for you to see results, you're going to need to do them regularly and correctly before you're going to notice any results. Regular Kegel workouts can promote stronger orgasms, heightened personal pleasure as well as help with incontinence issues.

How do you get bigger stronger muscles? You lift weights repetitively adding weight as you go and the same thing goes for Kegel workouts!  There are a variety of products on the market that can help known as Ben-Wa Balls, Kegel Balls, and Kegel Exercisers to name a few.  They are all sort of shapes, sizes, and materials to choose from as well as price points.

Q.  What are the best Kegel/Ben-Wa Balls for women?

A.  It comes down to personal preference really, are you looking to use them for strictly for exercise, sexual stimulation or both?  They come in a variety of shapes sizes and materials, for example,  Silicone Silicone is the newest version of the old fashioned Geisha Balls. It seems like every sex toy manufacturer is coming up with a newer and better version‎.  They are easy to use, easy to clean, and even come as rechargeable-vibrators with remote controls!  So not only can you work on restoring pelvic floor muscle tone, it is scientifically designed to restore the excitement in intimate relationships....winningggg!

Stainless Steel Stainless Steel Ben-Wa Balls are a great choice for kegel workouts as well as sexual stimulators.

Start off inserting 1 Stainless Steel ball, once you can comfortably hold one ball from falling out, add a second.  The weighted balls with naturally end up one on top of the other doubling the weight.  You should use them daily during your regular activity for 20 minutes to 6 hours BUT don't forget to take them out!!  We've heard horror stories of women leaving them in and going through airport scanners!  We're not sure if it's true or not BUT we can certainly see it happening, ugh!

Stainless Steel, as well as Glass can be huge sexual stimulators when used during sex or for arousing temperature play.  They are both easily warmed or chilled with warm and cold water or refrigerator.  Glass is very similar to the stainless steel but some come connected by a string, this is something we'd suggest staying away from just because it makes it difficult to really clean (unless it's a silicone)

All in all Ben-Wall Balls / Kegel Exercisers are a win-win and a definite yes to every woman's sexual wellbeing and later blatter control.

Q.  How can I introduce a sex toy to my partner?

A.  Start by choosing a toy that's unintrusive that you can both enjoy as well as a little something to set the mood.  Setting the mood is easy with pheromone infused candle or sensual body massage oils or lotions.
When it comes to sex toys select something like a Body Massager which is non-phallic or yonic looking, it's an unintrusive toy that can be placed between the two partners for simultaneous stimulation.   Another suggestion would be something small that packs a strong vibration like a C-ring or finger vibe
